This Thanksgiving we enjoyed a nice day at Grandma Carols. It was wonderful to have most of the family there and to spend time with extended family. Jeff’s presence was missed, but we hope that he enjoyed his pizza in Brazil. Ryan and I received word this morning that the genetics test for the baby came back and everything looks healthy and great. We are very thankful for that. We hope everyone enjoys the rest of the season and the time before Christmas. We have a lot of events to attend and parties to enjoy.

ta bom- so the guy with craig, a brazy that craig trained in the field. with lady that is awesome. i have been praying for her alot. i love my dog. with the packages, where did you send them? they might be at the mission home already, but i have been there and it has been a few weeks. if you sent them to the mission home i will get them in a week or two, maybe next wed. because it is the end of my first transfer. if my comp or i get transfered. with packages, addresses are important.

my comp said pilgrams only came to the usa, not brasil. they don’t have thanksgiving here. so we are celebrating it with pizza tonight, cool huh so you can send me some good treats for thanksgiving-like candy, i’m almost out. sorry for not writing last week no time for either you or alisa. life is busy for you and way busy for me. i’m always so tired. it takes a lot to be a missionary. ask ryan about his first transfer. i have to pay attention to the people, but i can understand. so that is awesome and the lord has blessed me alot. this week was weird my mind went crazy this week for some reason i dont know why. but now it’s good again. well i love hearing about you and ryan, and throwing up- that is cool. well you have a good week of work. send me some candy please and i’ll send something cool back. that is my promise to people who send stuff.

what up- so my companion has been here for a year and 2 months. so he hasn’t got a long time. the language is tough, but we do a good job teaching with the spirit. it is hard but i can understand a little. people always talk to me
and expect me to understand them- they talk fast and i dont understand always but they expect, so it is funny. i just say what or oi- huh. but i love it. i haven’t got grandmas packages yet. i got the first one not second. i got her card and i always get the letters. snow already? but i love the letters grandma they are awesome- you’re the best. send some candy already mom. i’m running out. i was joking with sister urry yesterday about how i need a package. president urry is the coolest guy ever, he has helped me out so much in many ways. i struggle really hard here in many ways and he has helped me. this time here has never been easy. everything is hard. i need help and that is where my hero comes in my savior, jesus cristo. i need and use his atonement everyday. but anyways packages for the holiday are awesome. i need some old spice mom like the kind dad buys. and on the double send some in the next few days and i will send some pics in return- deal. you can put some other stuff with that. i tell more that i need later.
the missionary work is coming good. we have a baptism for saturday. we teach
about 2-3 lessons a day usuually. we get referals, knock doors, we talk to people on the streets alot to get appointments. that is a good way to approach people. everyone here goes to the assembly of god or (man) church. so that is funny, they sing way loud. there is a church across the street from our house. we have a few very interested people. a family waiting to get married to be baptized, the parents kids already batized. we have a lady right now we started teaching about 2 weeks ago. we gave her and then the next week her son a blessing. her son got better after the blessing and he had been sick for a few weeks. i thanked heavenly father, that she was my first priesthood blessing, i annoited the oil both times. they were great experiences and the spirit was strong. she has a testimony of the book of mormon too and came to chruch. we hope she will be baptized next month with others. i taught a great lesson on monday, i was on splits with elder hudson. the lesson was great and the people understand and really liked the message. because of so many churchs only one knows which is true, heavenly father. the lady said this before we introduced jospeh smith so that helped. it was great.
what the heck is going on there. lady is dying? what? i just read this and it is crazy. i hope she gets better, take some pics. since i might not see her again. that is so sad she was fine before i left. just great, i love my dog, she has even slept in my bed before. i think about all the naps lady and i have taken together. you know laying on the floor cuddling, me and my dog. but this is crazy news. i dont want to write any more about it, i dont like it.
so what happened with the cell phone? put it in my room when the contract is up. how is life? this week has been good. hey mom send some recipes in a letter in the mail i dont want to write it down. simple ones like crepes, that kind of stuff- really simple. maybe a simple cake recipe too por favor. how is my room. shoes in the closet. pretty clean eh. just leave everything alone in there. it is how i want it. don’t change or throw away stuff, just leave it alone. even close the door- no enter zone

byu lost that sucks, how good is collie? way good or what. i’m mad, they have to beat utah now. so jake sounds big, he has a cousin coming that is weird. sounds like things are good. well here in brazil things are chilly, i ate mcdonalds today that was good. we always eat rice and beans for lunch and yesterday some crapy stuff but i ate and it sucked. we have a baptism for sat that is tight and teaching is going good. that is that. how are the jazz? well you guys have fun.

i think that the same address is in my book. call brad’s mom give her that address because if he sends it to the pouch, let’s think el salvador to utah then to brazil. por que mom. so do that please. thanks. so your b-day was good. you guys had fun. today we climbed a mountain. i got some good pics. it was way hot. this past week it was freezing and now it is way hot. brazil is crazy plus all of the people here are way crazy. ya my president is way cool, he is the coolest guy. we had a meeting with him last friday for new missionaries and it was good. with the language i can understand a little. my companion says i’m good, but in reality i only understand a little. i always catch myself dreaming off because it is so hard sitting there listening to people talk way fast and try to unerstand i always have head aches from this. the work is good. we have taught a lot of lesson but now we are looking for new people to teach. we walk a ton. yesterday we walked forever, like 5 hours. but it was good. how is the snow. rob getting married. wow. so i like it here. oh ya on monday we ate lunch at a members house. a ton of onions and stuff like that. mom you would have been proud of me i ate the whole plate, even though i didnt want any. now these plates we eat are big too. we always have to eat a ton or else the sisters think we don’t like their food and will get offended. so that is that. i ate some cereal. it was good, really good. so how is school for ya, work for dad, work for
lindsey, baby for alisa, school for everyone, and work for everyone. everything is new. byu won, that is way cool. did dad get money for his award. that is awesome. well i’m tired. but i love it here. did my companion’s mom call you yet. i have some letters coming home to. i hope all is well.

2-send package of great candy, i am running low on candy, i dont need money really i havent used my own account yet that has money in it from dad so that is
good.
3- i had some other things, but i forgot. things are great.
