hey family-
Didn’t get email from most everyone today, so that was weird, but christmas is today for you guys at home, that is way cool. here in brazil they say bem legal or bem longe, that is like bem means long, same thing. but with the packages, i got the packages from grandma and from you. they all came. a long ways and they come, but a little ways to mexico and they don’t make it, i think that is funny. did you get my email from last week? i have 30 minutes about to talk. so you will call me and we will talk. the number xxxx-xxxx, i think that before this number you will dial 011 so the total number is this 011-xxxx-xxxx, look in the missionary pamphlet for the number to the mission home- then replace the last 8 number with this xxxx-xxxx. I dont know how to get into brazil, might be more numbers. but in the book it will say the mission home address, then keep the first numbers but replace the last 8- the eight is the number to my house. understand. the time to call is 6 oclock for me. utah is 5 hours behind, so that means that vegas and oregon and wash. are 6 hours behind, right? so noon there.

hi familiy-
mom with the call i will explain more, but we have rules in the mission. most are rules for every mission and then you have rules with just your mission president. the rule with the call is on christmas day only. so no 22nd and we can only talk for 30 minutes. now you can’t call my president and ask him because the rules are for everyone just the same. you guys will call me from vegas then hang up and alisa and lindsey and rob will all have the chance to call at different times. 30 minutes is short so you have to already have all your questions written done.

it will be a boy- i always tell people that you are pregnant. the people here are pregnant too. all the girls here are pregnant- no for real tons of them and they just let their bellies hang out with normal shirts, it is gross. jazz tickets, wow. and they are good. tell ryan good luck with finals. hey i want to talk to you for 5 minutes on christmas night. 6 oclock here, utah is 5 hours behind, so maybe only four or 6 at ryan’s house. but i want to talk to you too. i only have 30 minutes to talk, the mission is different now then other times i guess with phone calls. but you sound good, read mom’s email it will be good. i will explain more about the call. love ya elder hicks

hey i got your card it is very cute. i got the picture but the funny thing is that i already have that picture from mom. now i have two. thanks for thinking about me here in brazil. with the phone thing, i have 30 minutes only to talk, the rule with my mission president. so if you could call and talk for 5 minutes or so that would be cool, really little time but it would be cool. here it is 2 oclock in the afternoon, i heard yesterday that utah is 5 hours behind me so it is 10 in the morning there. my time to call is 6 oclock here and there it is 1 in the afternoon, but i dont know the difference with other states which you will all be in. right now i dont know the number to get to brazil or our house number but i will email it to mom later today. i hope you can call and i will try to figure it out in the email to mom. thanks for everything, you are awesome how are the jazz? your my sports family. love ya thanks

hey alisa kurt and jake how is life? jazz are sucking it up. one funny thing i wanted to write to kurt is that we got something in common. we are both alimons or germans. lots of kids here say oi alimon to me all the time. they think americans are german, funny. but alimon is german in portuguese. sports doing good? for christmas i hope that you guys will be able to call me for like 5 or 10 minutes and we can talk, i will figure it out this week, with times and the number. tell mom to look at how much it costs to call. love you guys and cant wait to talk to ya.

hi mom and family-i dont care about the numbers. so you guys had a good trip and a great thanksgiving. we ate skittles on thanksgiving that i had saved from an old package. mom, elder cohen got transfered today, i am very sad, we were good friends. but an elder in my ctm district is comps with him now so that is cool. i got a new comp, elder aguiar, yes he is a brazy. no more english for me now, it is over. same area though here in br�s cubas. i got sad when elder cohen left.
