hey- everyone how is life? rob sounds busy with work and life. alisa sounds good and lindsey is hurting. i think that doug already has my address? but he is crazy. i got the pics of da,d that is pretty funny. and
saw the picture of jake. didnt recongize him, he looks big. kinda weird for me. i hit 5 months yesterday- bought some pizza, kinda a crapy day for me. today we played soccer for a while. ya, brazil is crazy but good. the language is coming. there are so many words for everything that is what is hard, but i can understand alot. i even think in portuguese now. lady is doing bad again, what has happened to that dog? my dog needs to be healthy. so this week went by fast. we have six missionaries in our house right now for a little bit- 4 brazys and two american. so that is kinda crazy. how is the nba news? what is happening with the jazz? the utes finished with what number in the nation? this week i was studying about baptism alot, tonight will talk about what baptism is. alot of people don’t understand about authority to baptize and the way of baptism. a little water on the head at 2 isnt right. but it is all good. right now we are looking for new people to teach- so the days are long. been rainy alot lately here. i dont have robs email anymore, i accidentaly erased it, tell him i said hi. was wondering how he was doing? with school and work and wedding? well thanks for the emails, and updates. tell matt i said congratulations on the marriage and send my best to him. so that is about it. people say the mission is hard, it is true. i have times of good and bad, sometimes i get really mad. it is a rollercoaster. we get to learn, that is about it. i understand things alot better than i used too. i always wonder alot of things, that is the funny part. but keep learning and doing better. well, anything else. i’ll get some pictures and mail them. i hope all is good. and i will keep on trying to do better. that is why we are here on earth to learn and grow-then do better. go through experiences. obey and be blessed- is an other good principle. well if you guys got any questions for me just ask? but i will keep working and doing. i want to take a nap today for a little bit, i have been really tired alot lately, really. thanks for everything and my love. tell grandma hi for me and i love her letter. love you all and i pray for you all.

hi-i didnt get transfered, my ward got split into two, and i thought that either me or my comp would go to the other half, but they are bringing in two other elders. the problem is that most of the people we are teaching live in the other half. so we will work with the new elders for a little bit.

You guys had a good weekend with all the b-days. saw phontam of the opera, was good? mom your words -It has great filming, costumes and voices- do you think you are in my films class or something? just kidding.

I don’t want those scriptures. I will tell you here in a little while. I dont want that scripture okay, so don’t tell pat. just wait a little bit alright.

candy- 100 grands are good, twix are good, peanut butter m&ms are good, skittles, starburst. my comp likes skittles.

right now we have many investigators we are teaching. last night I taught a lesson with a member, on a division-my comp with a different member. I taught first lesson of the restoration of the church of christ by my self. with some crazy questions. it was cool. I am starting to understand alot and am used to most things. I am used to rice and beans and the food. i love eating fruit-mangos are way good. rigth now for cereal i’m eating yogurt with granola in it. that is good. we used to do that at home. bastante neve lá. alot of snow there. I am going to try to put a picture on here. i’ll write another email to finish this off

I wanted to thank everyone for coming down on Sunday. It was so nice to have everyone come to Provo. I also enjoyed all of the gifts, games, and food. Thanks for everyone’s support of my birthday. I love you all.

i didnt open your pic of dad because i dont know if i can or not. but thanks. i didnt get transfered. to the other area. my ward split. we walk everywhere. never ride a bike. maybe once or twice a week we ride in a car. maybe once. last transfer6 weeks. i think i was in a car 4 times. we ride a bus everyonce in a while though. syndey is a good name. how is work. fun. well not to much time today. have a great week. love ya elder hicks. happy birthday yesterday right?

everything was closed last sat. so we just slept. lots of fireworks on new years eve. it was good. today we played soccer in the sand, it was fun and my team won alot of games. tell zach happy b-day, and loralee, and lindsey. baptism was good. long time ago, transfers next wed. rob got a tv, stand, and a dvd player, that is cool, and others luggage. the rings i got them off the street in sao paulo, while i was at the ctm. the dvd has dances of brasilian, i havent seen it. toilet paper was for padding. i got the picture of the prophets lamenated yesterday. not too hot here right now, rainy. i will probably get some photos developed tomorrow. tell rob what up for me and dad. the call was great. going to alaska on my b-day. not to much different today. i’m a little tired, but we have a discussion planned tonight. that will be good. school starting back up for everyone. work isn’t it fun. ya it is. well i dont have any more time. keep reading, and working. church at 8:30. the last two weeks i have gone to church twice for two wards. more blessings. brasil is the same, crazy i always say brasil is crazy. we’ll see what happens next week. i’m a little nervous. but a good scripture in dc 58:5 or 6 i think talks about i am with you. i love this scripture as i go through the day. you guys have fun, somebody maybe hit the slopes a little for the big snow storm. just rainy here. i’m out of here. got any questions just ask me and i will answer. candy list next week.
